The Adirondack North Country Association will present two upcoming workshops and the annual wholesale gift show and visitor’s guide to the art, crafts and foods of the region within the next few months.
January 27 - Workshop How to Establish and Maintain Wholesale Accounts
Workshop is especially useful for artisans and producers new to wholesale who are planning to exhibit at the 21st Annual Buyer Days, April 4 and 5, in Saratoga Springs.
Topics (2 hours):
How to Price Your Work, Jury Process, Booth Design, Preparations for and Procedure at Wholesale Show, Payment Arrangements between Craftsperson and Shop, Review of Sample Order Forms, Price Lists and Product Sheets and more. Question and answer format combined with wholesale terminology and procedure packet review.
Product Review by Peers(2 hours):
Workshop attendees, typically many with craft fair experience, provide feedback on each other’s product regarding suitability for wholesale and marketability. The best part of the workshop - it’s a chance for attendees to learn from each others’ experiences, ideas and insights.
