Showcasing handmade crafts, foods, art, books, and music featuring nature, rustic, contemporary and traditional themes made by artisans and producers, most from the Adirondack North region, the rest from New York State and a few from New England states. The average per vendor in 2006 was $3465 in orders and cash and carry. This low-key intimate trade show is a professional venue for debuting and well-established artisans.

The Best Practices Marketing Toolkit Workshop for Gift Shop and Studio Owners in Rural Areas will be presented as a free seminar at the show on Thursday, April 5, from 12 noon to 1 pm.

You may preregister by April lst for the show by clicking on Buyer Registration to receive your show badges and final list of vendors by mail prior to show.

Surprenant's Berry Farm, Mooers. Food - hundreds of jam/jelly lines - many made from fruits grown on his farm. Sixth year. Email.


Aroma Galores, Rainbow Lake. Candles - pillar, votive, jars and tarts. 25-hour votives, 80 scents, new - frosted jars, private labeling. Second year. Did well first year.

Adirondack Soapworks, Wilton. Soaps - Made with pure water from Saratoga Springs and infused with essential oils and nutrients. Fourth year.


Silver Bench, Croghan. Silver jewelry. Beautiful workmanship. Vendor has attended show for many years and regularly for the last three years.

A Shady Place Lamp Shop, Franklin Springs. Lamp shades - Vintage and Adirondack theme. Have been attending show regularly for three years, previously had attended show every two years or so. Email

Dux Dekes Decoy Co. , Greenwich. Wood - decoys of birds, particularly waterfowl. High quality work. Second year in a row after two year absence.

Rooted in Clay, Rindge, NH. Clay - functional pinched pottery with leaf imprints and natural textures. Fired with wood to give each piece unique earth tones. Second year. Did well last year.

Bear-Man Specialty Foods, Grand Island. Foods - specialty sauces and seasonings. Jury loved labeling and buyers loved their product last year. Second year.

Boulder Cove Originals, Forestport. Clay - windchimes strung with snowshoes, paddles, antique items; napkin rings, bun warmers and more. Third year. New this year - garden and whimsical animal lines. 315.834.6110.


Pure Mist Soaps, Lowville. Soaps - herbal, goat milk and dairy butter. Original bird and Ruby-Q Cow logos. Fourth year.


Near North, Ausable Forks. Small nature watercolor prints. Fifth year. Good seller.


North Country Books, Utica. Publishes and distributes quality books about the Adirondacks and New York State. Their selection includes history, biography, folklore, nature, field and trail guides, art, and photography. They offer over 1,250 titles along with posters, CD's, audio cassettes, DVD's, video tapes, postcard books, note cards, topographical maps, calendars, gifts, and sportswear. Tenth year at show.


From the Pines Studio, Hadley. Paintings, prints and notecards. She calls her style "primitive realism," and attempts to accurately portray glimpses of upstate New York - whether it be barn, camp, lake or still life. Second year. Did well first year.

Uncle Charlie's Products, Akron. Foods - bakery mixes (ie., pancake, muffin, applecrisp), jams, oils, vinegars, cora, coffee, syrup, mustards. Jury loved their line of humor labels. Second year at show.

Debora's Acrylic Paintings, New Hartford. Paintings - wildlife, scenes on tree fungus, slate, seashells, saws. Prints of paintings on canvas, matted and/or framed. Paintings very detailed. First time at show. 315.732.9568.

From the Gardens, Jamesville. Fiber - vintage Japanese Kimonos recreated as silk scarves, sashes, belts, jewelry pouches and purses. Second time at show - first time with this product line. 315.682.7333.

Mary Ann Geis, Potter, New Hampton, NH. Pottery - wheelthrown, handpainted, functional pottery. Five handpainted nature designs. Member of The League of New Hampshire Craftsmen. First time at show.

The Unique Boutique, Adams Center. Wood - quilt patterns made of stained and painted wood pieces and reed baskets. Jury impressed with innovative product. First year.


Soft Maple Design, Lowville. fiber - ultra suede bell strips and decoupage plates. Did very well with bell strips three or four years back. Second year.
