Use Regional Branding to Increase Your Product Sales

Made in the Adirondack North Country Made in the Adirondack North Country Made in the Adirondack North Country

Long Time Local Producer Confirms Power of Regional Branding
"It’s been very helpful to identify with the Adirondack North Country region to connect with the tourists and local people wanting to buy local product." Jane Desotelle, Underwood Herbs, Chateaugay, NY (2007)

Fuchsia Brand members generate 106 million pounds (215 million U.S. dollars) in West Cork
"The food-tourism-craft links create synergies as high quality food and craft provide an important part of the tourist’s experience and on returning home they associate the region with high quality food and craft produced in a natural environment ... In conclusion, the Fuchsia Brand members, typically small-scale food, tourism and craft enterprises, make a major contribution to West Cork and the regional brand reinforces linkages to ensure that as much as possible of the value created locally is retained within the local economy." Fuchsia News Newsletter of the West Cork Regional Branding Initiative (2007)
